Indiana Writing Project

THE INDIANA WRITING PROJECT, based at Ball State University, promotes the best possible writing instruction in Indiana schools. We offer professional development programs on effective practices by and for teachers.  The Indiana Writing Project, founded in 1986, was Indiana's first affiliate of the National Writing Project. Kelly Gallagher Workshop, June 14

We are excited to announce that Kelly Gallagher will present a day-long workshop, "Building Deeper Readers and Writers in an Age of Common Core Standards," on June 14, 2013. 

Invitational Summer Institute

At the core of our model of "teachers teaching teachers" is the Invitational Summer Institute.  This summer, IWP offered its twenty-seventh Summer Institute, bringing together teachers of writing in all disciplines.  We are currently accepting applications from educations for the 2013 Summer Institute.
